In spite of it all, Be You! Live Unapologetically!

27th June 2016 By Jonelle

These times we’re going through seem a little strange.

Everyone and everything is chaos and in turmoil. Just when you think that you see the light at the end of the tunnel, something new happens and you’re thrown into a tailspin. You awake from the stupor, confused and lost. You don’t understand what just happened.

Life my dear.

Life just happened.

Things have been tough around here, then they were worse and then they were better and then worse and better and worse… and I have brain freeze and I haven’t even touched the ice cream yet.

Everything happens for a reason, they say.

Death and life and love, no reason. Life has NO reason. Life just is.

All we can do, is live our best life.

Live the best version of the life we are given.

Do our best, treat people with kindness and hope that we make it out alive, or at least with happiness to look back on.

There is a constant flow of happiness and sadness, of life and of death.

Somehow life is weirdly ironic, with every new birth comes a new death, a new loss, a new something or other that makes us sad. But is this my life or all our lives?

Are we all just plodding along, quietly going through the same stuff.

The more I talk to others, the more I realise that it’s not just me, not just us. It’s everyone.

Maybe this is all life is meant to be.

Maybe life is little more than  a smile today and a tear tomorrow.

Maybe life is what we make it? Maybe it doesn’t matter what we make it, maybe it just is either way.

In spite of it all, Be Unapologetically You!- Tyranny of Pink

Life is hard.

I’m under no false impressions but maybe we can have a little break, cut me some slack, maybe just maybe on the other side of this is sunshine for days? Even too much sunshine means everything dies. You see, we need the rain. We need it to grow, to feel, to experience fully.

All we can do, is our best.

All we can promise, is to live unapologetically. being who we are, doing the things that give us small moments of joy. All we’ve got is this moment. Good, or bad, or neutral. This moment is our life. Life may try to change you, to crush you, to influence you. Stand tall, stand proud. Be who you are. Do what makes you happy!

Live it Unapologetically.
