Where to stay in Cape Town - Tyranny of Pink

We spent a night at the incredible Bliss Boutique Hotel in Sunset Beach for my 35th birthday and it was absolutely magical. I’m not going to lie, my husband totally wins at being the best husband ever when he surprises me with nights away to fancy hotels.

We had an incredible dinner and it didn’t hurt that we made friends with an incredibly interesting German/Brazilian couple who were staying there. We ended up having dinner with them and probably drank way too much wine too!

How luxurious was our room and I LOVE coming back to get into a bed that has already been turned down and is just ready to climb right into. Look at the incredible whisky box they have in the room too. Not too shabby for a whisky loving lass like me.

Waking up and rolling into breakfast made for an excellent start to our Sunday. We had a relaxed breakfast before checking out and heading to the wine lands for an incredible day of wine tasting and more delicious lunch. Because when in Cape Town…

Everything from the staff to the room to the food was perfect. Luxurious rooms, delicious food, a special Gin bar (so my style) and views for days. Can’t wait to go back there! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Cape Town, this place is definitely worth a visit.
